- Non stick pan
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 pieces chicken breast pcs cut into thick strips
- 1 cup mushrooms brwonmushrooms -sliced
- 2 shallots finely chopped
- 1 cup Marsala wine cooking wine
- 1/2 cup flour all purpose flour seasoned with salt and pepper
- 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1/4 cup sage chopped/chiffonade
- salt and crushed black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- In a heated nonstick pan add olive oil, swirl to coat pan. Next dredge the chicken pcs in seasoned flour and place them in the pan. Cook for 3 minutes on each side or until done & golden brown. Remove from pan to a dish
- Next add shallots to the pan, saute for couple of minutes then add garlic. Mix well
- Now add mushroom, saute with the hsallot/garlic mixture in the pan. Cook for a minute then add chopped sage leaves. Saute further for a minute than add salt and crushed black pepper
- Stir in the butter, add Marsala wine. Mix well. Reduce the wine until it become a thick sauce.
- Add heavy cream, mix well and cook for 2 more minutes then add the chicken back to the pan. Finally, coat the cooked chicken with the Marsala sauce mixture, simmer for 2 more minutes and transfer to a plate.
