Hi I am Prashant Shukla, creator of my cooking blog Gastro Guru Kitchen & cooking channel Gastro Guru on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/c/GastroGuru. My culinary journey began many years back in New York City. Making $4/hour didn’t leave me much choice as far dining out and appeasing my hunger for delicious food. So I started cooking at home, initially referencing cook books as a starting point. By trial and error I slowly began to learn and improve upon my cooking skills. Growing up in Mumbai, living in New York City and finally settling down in Chicago, I have been exposed to some great food and this exposure has definitely helped me grow as a chef.
