VEGGIES & NOODLE STIR FRY
Udon Noodles cooked with veggies and smothered with Chinese cooking wine, soy sauce, sesame oil and chili garlic sauce. Easy to make, healthy and Oh so delicious!

- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced brown mushrooms - portabella
- 1 onion - thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions/scallions
- 2 cloves garlic- chopped
- 1 inch ginger - thinly sliced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 5 whole dry red peppers - optional
- 2 tbsp chinese cooking wine
- 1 tbsp chili-garlic paste - Sambal or other brand
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp veg. oil
Heat Wok, add veg. oil. Now add onions, ginger and garlic. Saute for 2 minutes.
Next add cabbage, carrots, mushroom, saute for couple more minutes.
Add soy sauce, cooking wine, chili garlic paste. Mix well and saute for a minute.
Finally add pre-cooked Udon or stir fry noodles. Mix everything well so that veggies and noodles are coated well with the sauce.
Wallah! Your Veggie/Noodle Stir Fry is ready!
Transfer to serving bowl. Garnish with chopped green onions/scallions
