Delicious Beef Meatballs, marinated in soy marinade. Cooked in the oven then glazed in Asian sweet and spicy glaze in a pan. Simply Amazing!

To prepare Meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef -85% lean
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp crushed ginger
- 1 tbsp crushed garlic
- 4 tbsp bread crumbs regular or panko bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp black pepper grounded
- 3 green onions/scallions finely chopped
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 egg
Soy Glaze Sauce
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 2 green onions/scallions finely chopped for garnish
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish
- 2 tbsp chili garic sauce or Sambal sauce
Cooking Mongolian Meatballs
Add all ingredients under' Preparing Meatball Ingredient Group' in a bowl including beef. Mix well, set aside
Line rectangle sheet pan/cookie sheet with parchment paper. With 1 tbsp measuring spoon create round meatballs and place them on the sheet pan. Make sure they are not too close to each other
Preheat oven to 400* F, place meatballs in the oven for 12 minutes
Glazing Meatballs
While meatballs are cooking in the oven, heat non stick pan on stove, on medium flame
Add soy sauce & sugar. Stir well until sugar dissolves. Next add water & corn starch. Mix well
Now add cooked meatballs to the pan. Toss them to ensure they are coated with the glaze completely
Transfer Mongolian Meatballs to a serving bowl, garnish with green onions & sesame seed
