In a bowl add all the ingredients listed under Veg. Ball Mixture
Mix well Make round balls from the mixture and put them in fridge for 30 minutes so that they firm up
In the mean time prepare Manchurian sauce/gravy in a small bowl by adding ingredients listed for it above. Mix well, set aside.
Heat 2 cups oil in a wok/sauce pan. While oil heats up remove Veg balls from fridge. Deep fry Veg. balls in oil on medium heat. Remove from pan to drain oil, set aside
Add 2 tbsp of cooking oil to a saucepan
Once oil is hot add chopped onion. Stir fry for 2 minutes until translucent
Add chopped garlic, stir fry for 30 seconds than add water. Mix well
Now add Manchurian sauce that we made earlier. Mix well then add corn starch slurry
Simmer for a minute until sauce thickens, then add Veg. balls that we deep fried earlier
With a spoon coat veg. balls with Manchurian sauce/gravy. Simmer for 1 more minute
Our delicious Veg. Manchurian with Gravy is ready!
Transfer to a serving bowl. Garnish with finely chopped spring onion/scallion
Enjoy by itself, with steamed rice or noodles!
