RESTAURANT STYLE TAHINI SAUCE
Remember the Tahini Sauce you had at places like Pita Inn? Yes the one you loved so much you wanted to take a gallon home! No need to crave for that anymore. I have created this recipe which requires just a few ingredients but tastes as good as any restaurant quality Tahini Sauce!

- 3 tbsp Tahini Seasame Paste Available at supermarkets & grocery stores
- 1 clove garlic minced
- salt to taste pinch or more
- 1 tbsp olive oil add more if needed
- 2.5 cups plain yogurt whisked
- 1/4 cup warm water use to thin the sauce, as necessary
- flat leaf parsley chopped for garnish - optional
- 1/2 lemon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp cumin powder optional
- 1/4 tsp paprika optional
In a mixing bowl add Tahini Sesame Paste, whisk for 2 minutes. Crush garlic clove with flat back of your chef's knife, add pinch of salt then mince till it become a paste. Add garlic to the mixing bowl & whisk again. Next add olive oil, lemon juice, salt & yogurt.
Whisk everything in the mixing bowl until the sauce becomes smooth and consistent. Add warm water if the sauce looks too thick. Whisk again. Taste and add more salt if needed.
Wallah! Your Restaurant Style Tahini Sauce is ready. Transfer to a bowl or jar. Enjoy it fresh or refrigerate it for future use.
