Seared Tuna in Ponzu Sauce
Yellow Fin Tuna steak pan seared, then sliced and plated on Ponzu sauce. Sprinkled with salt and brushed with sesame oil. Finally topped with red onions, jalapeno peppers, scallions/green onions and micro greens. A Feast for your eyes and your taste buds!

- 1 yellow fin tuna steak
- 2 tbsp veg.oil
- salt to taste
- 1 jalapeno pepper marinated and sliced from can
- 1/4 red onion finely chopped
- 1 stalk scallion/spring onion finely chopped
- 1/4 cup micro greens
In a heated non stick pan add veg.oil and let it heat for a minute
Add Tuna steak searing it on all 4 sides for a minute each
Transfer tuna steak to cutting board, slice into 10 even sized strips. Transfer to rectangular serving plate
Now salt & brush each piece with sesame oil. Next top with red onions, jalapeno pepper, scallion/green onion & micro greens
