Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground chicken leg meat
- 1 cup cabbage
- 1/2 cup green onions/scallions
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- salt and ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp ginger and green chili paste
- wonton wrappers
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce Tamari brand for dipping sauce
- 1 tsp chili garlic sauce Sambal or any other
- 1/4 water for dipping sauce
Instructions
- Place 1/2 tsp of chicken mixture on each wonton wrapper. Next apply water to the wrapper edges and fold them packing a pocket. Pinch the edges to create pleats and seal it. See Chicken Mixture details below
- Heat non stick pan, add sesame oil, swirl pan to coat evenly
- Place 8 pot stickers in the pan and brown each side with the help of a tong. Once done add 1/4 cup of water in the pan, cover with lid and steam for 2 minutes
- Transfer to plate and enjoy them with dipping sauce that we made. Dipping sauce recipe below. Enjoy!
- Chicken mixture filling: In a mixing bowl place ground chicken. Next add cabbage, spring onions, salt, black pepper, garlic, ginger-green chili paste, soy sauce. Mix well and refrigerate for an hour
- Dipping Sauce:Mix 2 tbs dark soy sauce, sesame oil, 1 tsp chili-garlic sauce (Sambal), green onions/scallions, 1/4 cup of water in a small bowl.
