8 Minute Shrimp Udon Noodles
8-Minute Shrimp Udon Noodles-Your Weeknights Dinner BFF!
Equipment
- 1 Wok/Saucepan
- 1 Mixing bowl
Ingredients
Ingredients to Season Shrimp
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- salt to taste
Ingredients to make Noodle Stir Fry Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp chili-garlic sauce - Sambal Oelek
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce - Tamari
- 1.5 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup water
Other Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp - peeled and deveined
- 1 lb packet of precooked Udon Noodles
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/2 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
- 1 chopped scallion/spring onion for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Season shrimp in a bowl with red chili powder & salt, set aside
- Make Noodle Stir Fry Sauce as per Sauce Ingredients in a small bowl, set aside
- Heat cooking oil in wok or saucepan on medium flame
- Stir Fry shrimp for 2 minutes in it. Remove shrimp & set aside
- Add stir fry sauce mixture to saucepan. Cook for 30 seconds
- Now add precooked Udon Noodles. Mix well until well coated
- Add back cooked shrimp to wok
- Toss/stir fry everything for a minute more
- Walla! Your delicious Shrimp Noodles Stir Fry is ready!
- Transfer to serving bowl, garnish with sesame seeds.
