Pan Seared Scallops and Lobster
I have created a delicious gourmet dish typically served at high end restaurants. Now you can make it at home!

- 3 scallops
- 1 lobster tail cooked in boiling water for 7 minutes, out of the shell
- salt and crushed black pepper to taste
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup white cooking wine
- 1 tsp lime juice
- chopped parsley to garnish
Add olive oil to preheated non stick pan. In the mean time boil lobster tail in a pot for 7 minutes. Once lobster is cooked take it out of the shell
Add scallops to the pan, larger side down, sear for couple of minutes. Baste the top with hot olive oil from the pan with a spoon, remove & set aside
Next add butter to the pan to deglaze it. Now add garlic, saute for a minute then add white wine. Wait for the alcohol from the wine to evaporate
Once we have the wine reduction sauce lets add the scallops back to the pan, seared side up. Next add freshly chopped parsley & with a spoon baste the top seared side with the wine sauce. Now add lobster tail to the pan. Saute for 2 more minutes.
Wallah! Our Pan seared scallops & lobster tail is now ready. Transfer to a plate, pour the wine/butter sauce on top, garnish with chopped parsley.
