Instructions
For the MarinadeIn a mixing bowl add catfish steaks, salt, turmeric powder, crushed black pepper,cumin and coriander powder, red chili powder/paprika, green chili pepper-ginger paste & lemon juice. Set aside for an hour
For the batter
In a mixing bowl add gram flour, salt/crushed black pepper to taste, green chili-ginger paste. Next add water as needed and make a batter for frying the catfish steaks
Heat vegetable oil in pan and add catfish steaks. Cook for 3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked. Transfer to plate and serve.
